Cindy Shaffer owner of Shaffer Development is the co-developer and co-owner of the Mequon Town Center, a 16 million dollar mixed use development with 30,000 SF of retail space and 29 luxury apartments. According to Mequon Mayor Dan Abendroth, “The City of Mequon has enjoyed working with Shaffer Development on the new Mequon Town Center. This was a complicated development with multiple property owners and Shaffer worked collaboratively with all to make this happen.”
Mequon Town Center is being developed on a 3-acre site at one of Mequon's key intersections. Located immediately adjacent to City Hall, and at the gateway to the civic campus, Mequon Town Center will become in many respects the heart of Mequon. The community swimming pool, the library, the Interurban recreational trail and a new riverfront park provide incredible civic amenity. The new retail space will include some of Milwaukee's strongest local brands. With restaurant, cafe, frozen confections, health and beauty services, financial services, and other users - this will be a true destination and a gathering place.
