Spur 16 will include the new Mequon Public Market and 156 apartment homes and town homes along with restaurants and shops. Mequon Town Center
Shaffer purchased 2 of the 5 parcels of land to assemble the revolutionary Mequon Town Center. She worked with the American Legion and adjacent Mobile gas station to create the first new multi family development in over 20 years in Mequon. This project called for creating a new zoning code, public and private partnerships involving a city loan as well as a creative land swap and a re-use of the gas station. This 15 Million dollar project reached stabilization within 9 months of completion and sold for close to 20 Million within a year of completion. Exceding investors expectations and returns.
In a competitive bidding process Shaffer Development was awarded this four acre site in the center of the Village of Grafton. Shaffer partnered with Bill Arpe, Principal of Fiduciary Real Estate Development, to complete the construction of 1505 apartments in June of 2017. This 77 unit project reached stabilization by September of 2017 and phase 2 is currently under construction.
